Today's walk was around Inspiration Point Park. The area is an interesting hill of houses with quite stellar views all overlooking traditionally very industrial Denver. Oddly I did a terrible job getting things focused it seems across these shots.

The above was me playing with my original Wacom Graphire tablet from 1999. Here the grass was masked off and made more green in GIMP; sadly focus was clearly not an objective of this photo when taken.

People again showed up to do a drift competition awaking me around 10:30p. Here're some shots of their silliness. The police again didn't perform any stops but simply chased the folks away again. It does get old being woken up by these antics. One of the trucks was back-firing so badly it seemed to have ejected part of its exhaust while revving and backfiring quite loudly.

To optimize such a large moving GIF I have followed the two ImageMagick tutorials on animated GIF optimization and animated GIFs from video to make this 15MB 58 frame 1082x690 video.
for i in Alignment*.tif; do convert -resize 709x497^ -gravity center -extent 650x460 $i ${i%%.tif}.jpg; done
convert -delay 30 -loop 0 Alignment*.jpg Alignment.miff
convert -coalesce -layers OptimizeFrame -ordered-dither o8x8,23 -colors 14 +map -fuzz 15% Alignment.miff Alignment.gif
