North Capitol Hill

A walk from 20th Ave and Glenarm Pl, to almost 20th Ave and Logan from roughly 18th Ave. and Grant St.

Cathedral High School, Seton House Convent, Samaritan Shelter a.k.a. Grant Street Art Studios is quite the visible building having been used as a convent, apartments, school, AIDS hospice and lastly art studios which closed in 2013 per the Denverite and Historic Denver

Now for something completely different -- new buildings surrounding Cathedral High School.

Walking to 20th Ave. provided some nice vistas of the rise of Denver and the interesting disused low-density commercial here.

The Birds... they didn't attack but wow, so many!

To the South we go...

The Adele: in-expensive, tiny efficiency apartments apparently. Studios to 1 bedrooms for $800-$1,000/mo.

1770 Sherman Street is home to the El Jebel mosque; never actually a religious temple but quite the site!

A view of quiet Grant Street Plaza. There was a US map sculpture dedicated in the '50s for a bank located nearby as I recall.
